December 6 – Saint Nicholas’ Day

December 5, 2010, we had a chance to celebrate St. Nicholas Day.
The kids got candy from Santa Claus, a Polish children’s theater group prepared a presentation. We listened to Christmas carols, drank hot chocolate and we met nice people.

I am still here

Hello everyone
I was very busy during last few weeks. I had a lot of outstanding work. Tonight for the first time since a long time I just relax.
Our holidays in Poland were great. The trip was nice. The children were very polite on the plane. Most of the time we spent in Warsaw. Many people do not like Warsaw, but I like. Much has changed in last four years. I was happy to walk through the Old Town and Royal Park Łazienki. It was great to meet up with family, just to eat dinner with my mom, or drink coffee with my sister. I was surprised that my nephew Jakub is taller than me. His younger brother is also a big boy (before our emigration he was a baby). My mother dream came true. She dreamed to meet me and my sister with our families in her house. We just had dinner, talked and watched children. My kids were so happy to. I know they miss family. My mom has pets and my kids loved to play with.
Julia fed Basia. Basia is a goat. There are two dogs, one cat and a bunny.
We also went on a trip to Cracow. We just walked, we made pictures, we met up with friends. I would like to thank friends for their hospitality.
We liked the salt mine Wieliczka. If you will ever visit Cracow, necessarily see Wieliczka too.
Holidays are over. We had to back to normal life. Julcia is a firstgrader. She is very busy. She is in school form 9 to 3.22. Then she eats something, plays and learns english and polish.
I try to organize myself and find time for my family, friends, cleaning, cooking and hobby. I was in Joann yesterey, bought z zipper and have a plan. I want to learn how to insert zippers. Maybe tomorrow. Now…sleeeeeep.

I am back

Hello everyone. I am back. We spent almost four weeks in Poland. Then I was sick. I had too much coffee and sweets probably. We try to organize, but we still have mess.
School will start tomorrow. Today is open house. We are going to school to meet a teacher and see a classroom.
Julia yesterday asked me:
Mom, why peple say open house, not open school?????

Reisefieber

Days go fast like crazy. We will fly to Poland in one week. Definitely I need vacation. I feel tired (I am too tired to write here). I have to pack our suitcases , clean house and sew some clothes for doll .
I hope during vacation I’ll have more time. I plan to take a lot of pictures of Warsaw and Cracow and show here.
Last thursday I had dentist appointment. When I left his office I was very happy (I thought I will not have to see him for next three months). Hahaha…
I was wrong. I feel pain. I am not quite sure it’s toothache or gum sensitivity to heat and cold. What should I do?????
I hope I will wake up free of pain. If not, I will call him tomorrow morning.

Preparing for vacation

In one month we will fly to Poland. Last time we’ve been there 3 years and 9 months ago. I am glad that my mom the first time will hug my the youngest kid.

Older children are happy to see again with the grandmothers. Today I went with my daughter to the hairdresser to trim our hair. We are going shopping tomorrow. We need new T-shirts and a few other things. I am excited.
