Time goes too fast

I can not believe it’s already July 14. I had no time to write here. I had doctors appointments. Last sunday we had an international potluck. We met with our neighbors in our home. We ate brazilian, indian and polish food. I love garbanzo bean dish made by my neighbor and friend. I love guava paste too (J.thanks again).
Today I had a busy day too. I woke up a 5.30 a.m. and went for a bike ride. When I came back I took a nap.
I went shopping in the afternoon. I bought some gifts for my nephews and a doll for my daughter. She has a favorite doll “Baby born”, but the doll is broken. Today I found in Ross “My little baby born” ( is smaller).
I plan to give gift for my daughter during our the trip to Poland. I can not wait to see her happiness.

I love healthy foods: veggies, whole grains, legumes, fruits. I usually avoid sugar and dairy products, but I still crave sometimes flavors of childhood.
Today we had a tasty meals. Sometimes when the fridge is almost empty, you can you can go to the pantry in search of treasure.
For breakfast we (my kids and me) had millet with soy sauce (my husband usually eats cereal). For lunch french toasts (children), for dinner dill potatoes, peas and garbanzo beans and for desert: soft rols with pastry cream. I found recipe on the internet:

This is the recipe:

500 grams flour
42 grams yeast (fresh)
20 grams honey
2 eggs
250 grams milk
7 grams salt
75 grams butter

Mix Milk + yeast + honey + eggs
Add flour
Add the soft butter
Add salt

Knead for about 10 minutes.
Leave covered for about 1 hour in warm place.

Pastry cream

4 tablespoons of soft butter

1/2 cup of powdered sugar

1 yolk

1 tablespoon of vanilla sugar

400g of creem cheese

Thoroughly mix ingredients.

Divide the dough into buns 50 grams each.
Make boule shapes.

Rest 20 minutes covered. Punch down the dough with it to create a hole to fill with pastry cream, do this just before putting them in the oven.

Bake at 240°C (460F) for about 10 minutes.
